John,

beautiful gallery. the only thing is you need to rename your gallery folder. You also need to add title to your images.

PostSubject: Day - Night shot   Thu Oct 16, 2008 10:56 am

This is the link webshots and carbonmade to my Light project:
http://community.webshots.com/user/john_nguyen
http://johnnguyen.carbonmade.com/

This is one of my favorites, City at night. I took it from the Prudential building's top floor at around 8p.m. I used tripod to stable the camera, so it would not be blurry. I changed the ISO to very high around 800, and also high f-stop value, low shutter speed and set 30 seconds self timer with no flash. But the result came out grainy Sad

I tried to use the same tactics for taking a shot of line of light in the night road, but it didn't really work. Therefore I switched to firework mode and the result was exactly the same as what I expected Smile

I took this one in our school. It was about to rain, thus the color of the sky was a mixture of dark and light.

It is my Ipod. I took the picture of it near the window when the sunlight outside was very harsh so that's why you can see there is shadow of it on one side.
